Privacy notice

AccounTech Ltd (“AccounTech”, “we”, “us”) respects privacy and handles personal data in line with applicable Irish and EU data protection law, including the GDPR.

Before launch, confirm that the legal entity name, registered office, retention periods and supplier list below exactly match the way AccounTech operates.

1. Who controls your data?

Controller: AccounTech Ltd
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Email: hello@accountech.ie

2. What we collect

When you contact us, we may receive your name, work email address, company name, the contents of your message and other information you choose to provide. We do not ask this website to collect financial records, bank credentials, payment-card details or special-category personal data.

3. Why we use it

4. Legal bases

For an enquiry that may lead to a contract, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. For general business correspondence and website security, we may rely on legitimate interests, subject to the applicable balancing requirements. Where a legal obligation applies, we process data to comply with that obligation.

5. How this website handles enquiries

The public website does not store consultation submissions in a database. The consultation and contact forms submit enquiry details to FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service, which forwards the submission to hello@accountech.ie. FormSubmit states that its service is free, uses spam controls and retains form submissions for a limited period; Before ongoing use, AccounTech should verify the provider's current terms, data-processing arrangements and any international-transfer mechanism that applies to the service.

6. Cookies and tracking

The current website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or other optional tracking technologies. See our cookie notice.

7. Third-party resources

Some visual assets and web fonts on the current design are requested from third-party providers such as Unsplash and Google Fonts when a page loads. Those requests can disclose network information such as an IP address to the external provider. For the strongest privacy posture, self-host the final image assets before launch and keep any third-party vendors documented in the organisation’s records of processing.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry and correspondence data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing a potential business relationship, meeting legal obligations and dealing with disputes. The exact retention schedule should be confirmed in AccounTech’s internal retention policy.

9. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable exceptions, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, request portability and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact hello@accountech.ie to exercise a right.

10. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, AccounTech should ensure that the transfer uses a lawful GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.

11. Security and incidents

We apply technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the risk. If a personal data incident occurs, it will be assessed and managed under our incident-response process, including any notification required by GDPR.

12. Complaints

You can contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission: dataprotection.ie.

13. Changes

This notice may be updated when our processing activities, suppliers or legal requirements change.
